Someone get me a drink!

All those who have a four day weekend say 'me'!

ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I have been looking forward to this weekend since my last long weekend! (a month ago for those who keep track) But in the middle of intensives this just might be better than xmas! Four days without phonics classes. Four days without grammar lessons. Four days without kids!

And Wednesday when I go back to work we have a field trip to the zoo for the youngins and movie night for the older kids. So my teaching days next week are Thursday and Friday... I am ecstatic... and then after that there is just one full week of intensives left!

No big plans for the weekend yet, okay no plans for the weekend yet, other than meeting up for drinks at Wa Bar later tonight. Tomorrow I might head to the bus terminal and go to Seoul or Daegu or somewhere. Sunday and Monday I don't know about and then Tuesday I am trying to organize a trip to a water park with some of the foreigners as it is Independence Day here and I think that would be a fun group activity and a good way to beat the heat.

Speaking of which, it is hotter than ever. My newest way of staying cool is making an ice pack before bed each night and sleeping with an ice pack...not quite as cuddly as a stuffed animal..but it makes sleeping bearable.

This week I also bought a brand new digital camera which should have arrived today but didn't :( It is shockwear resistant up to 5 feet (meaning I can drop it) and water proof up to 1.5 metres (meaning I can drop it in water!)... it is made of steel and pretty heavy but really cool. Being that it is my 4th camera this year I figured I needed somethign that was not only shock and water proof but also Diana proof... we will see how things go. THis is it though, if something goes wrong I have to take it as a sign that some people just aren't meant to have digital cameras and should stick to disposables. But for now it is essential being that I am probably only going to be on this side of the world once or twice in my lifetime.

Okay I have become very long winded these days and I am sure I will be lookign to fill time this weekend by posting endless babble so for now I will say good night and have a good 2 day weekend...suckers!
